Our Competition Teams are for dancers that are looking for a broader experience and deeper commitment to dance. At Royal Existence we offer two lines of performance teams; Elite Team and Hip Hop Crew. We compete in a number of Eisteddfods throughout the year in Darwin and are hoping to take our teams interstate for competitions in the near future. These teams also perform and represent Royal X at numerous local events.
Performance Teams are ideal for students who want to challenge themselves, deepen their technique, and grow as individuals. This experience builds stage presence, teamwork, self-discipline, and lasting friendships while encouraging grace under pressure and a positive attitude.

Students who also display great resilience, commitment, humility and integrity, are invited to join the teams. We believe any and every student who desires to be part of a team will get there if they are willing to work hard and apply themselves.
With a foundation in Ballet, Jazz, and our strength and conditioning class, Accelerate, Elite dancers master set routines for performances and competitions. The program fosters confidence, technical proficiency, and close-knit friendships, with opportunities to compete locally in Darwin and at regional and national events, such as the Evolution National Competition on the Gold Coast.
Class requirements for Elite Teams are Ballet, Jazz and our strength & conditioning class, Accelerate.
Modern and dynamic, hip hop is certainly addictive. This powerful, high-energy dance style relies on a punchy beat and a little bit of attitude! Children and adults will master individual moves before learning to build up to longer routines. The Hip Hop craze remains popular around the world and students will love these dynamic classes.
Known for delivering dynamic and engaging routines, our Hip Hop Crew is perfect for dancers who love high-energy movement and a bit of attitude! These classes help students refine their skills, build confidence, and gain valuable stage experience. The Hip Hop Crew performs at local events and competitions, offering a thrilling way to grow as a dancer and team member.
